The partner appointments – eight in Dublin and three in Belfast – are the largest number of partner appointments ALG has made and brings the total number of partners in the firm to 104.

The new partners in Dublin are Laura Butler in asset management and funds; Andrea Lawler in commercial and technology; Niamh McMahon in finance; Sarah Murphy in commercial dispute resolution; Darran Nangle in corporate M&A; Ciarán Ó Conluain in commercial dispute resolution; Sinéad O’Connor in finance; and Kerill O’Shaughnessy in asset management and funds.

In Belfast, the new partners are Sam Corbett in restructuring and insolvency; David Rowan in corporate M&A; and Mark Stockdale in corporate and energy.

The newly created position of “of counsel”, a role similar to partner and widely seen in US and UK corporate law firms, is held by Dublin lawyers Emma Martin in insurance; Philip McQueston in tax; and Noeleen Meehan in employment.
