The 24-year-old woman told Bhopal Family Court in the Madhya Pradesh state of India that her father’s cheating had broken her trust.

However, she agreed to undergo counselling and felt positive again after four sessions, India Today reports.

Sarita, the counsellor, said: “The woman said she lost respect for her father as he went on to defeat her. She felt that her father should have lost in the game for the sake of her happiness.”

But she added: “We have conducted four counselling sessions with her. After four counselling sessions, she now feels positive.”
