And finally… swipe left 🔥💰⚖️

A businessman who gave £182,000 to a woman he met on dating app Tinder has won a court battle to get the money back.

Marcel Kooter, 57, claimed he sent the money to Manuel Radeva, 37, for investment purposes - not as a gift.

Ms Radeva’s Tinder profile said she was an investment banker at Citibank, but her lawyers insisted the pair were in “a relationship with lots of kisses … not a professional relationship”.

However, Judge John Cavanagh, sitting in the High Court in London, said he thought it was “highly implausible” that he was giving her the money for any other reason than to invest.

He granted summary judgment for £182,050 against Ms Radevas, as well as £3,641 in interest and £20,000 in legal costs, The Times reports.

A further trial will consider another claim from Mr Kooter for around £31,500, and a counter-claim from Ms Radeva for £10,000.
