Arthur Cox is offering students the opportunity to learn crucial career skills and gain an insight into the trainee positions available at the firm at an open evening in its Belfast city centre offices.

The event on Wednesday 25 October, 6.30pm, will see Arthur Cox partners and associates deliver in-depth workshops focused on how best to perform at interview, and how to draft an effective CV.

The aims to help students learn more about how best to secure a trainee placement, and will include an office tour and a Q&A session.

Catriona Gibson, managing partner at Arthur Cox, said: “Our open evening always provides an excellent opportunity for students to get an insight into Arthur Cox’s practice areas, which include Corporate and Commercial, Employment, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Banking and Financial Services, Banking Litigation, Commercial Property, Energy and Intellectual Property.

“We always look forward to welcoming a new cohort of trainees each year, and I would encourage students to attend our open evening and benefit from the information and practical skills advice on offer.

“Named this month by the Financial Times on its FT50 list of Europe’s most innovative legal firms, Arthur Cox is always in popular demand amongst Northern Ireland’s most forward-thinking students when assessing legal trainee options.

“We invest significant time and resources into developing our trainee lawyers. Those joining Arthur Cox will gain unrivalled experience of working across a portfolio of clients that includes multinational heavyweights, leading Northern Ireland corporates and dynamic new start-ups.”
