Belfast solicitor Lizzie Colvin is set to represent Ireland in a major international hockey tournament.

Ms Colvin, employment lawyer at DWF, is one of five women from Northern Ireland playing for Ireland at the Vitality Hockey Women’s World Cup.

The competition kicks off in London later this month, with the team’s first match - against the USA - coming up on Saturday 21 July.

She told BelfastLive: “We have been training five times a week, which has made life very busy - but my colleagues at DWF have been brilliant - supporting and helping me so I can balance work and practice.”
