Retired solicitor John H. Cavan has passed away, the Law Society of Northern Ireland has announced.
Mr Cavan was admitted to the roll of solicitors in 1976 and practised with Fisher & Fisher Solicitors before his retirement.
The Law Society said it “extends its condolences to his family, friends and former colleagues”.
A funeral service for Mr Cavan will take place this afternoon at 2pm in Kilbroney Parish Church Rostrevor, followed by private cremation on Thursday.
