Six members of the Labour Relations Agency (LRA) board have been reappointed and a further three have had their terms extended.

Marie Mallon has been reappointed as chairperson for one year, while members Jill Minne, Daire Murphy, Deirdre Fitzpatrick, Louise Crilly and Michelle McGinley have been reappointed for three years.

Meanwhile, Gary McMichael, Alison Millar and Albert Mills have had their terms extended by a short period to 30 April 2021.

The LRA is a non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department for the Economy, which offers impartial advice to both employees and employers. It has responsibility for promoting the improvement of employment relations in Northern Ireland.

The board, which consists of a chair and nine members, includes employment law experts and trade unionists.
