NI: Legal academics appointed to AHRC Peer Review College

and Dr Catherine O'Rourke
Legal academics Professor Rory O’Connell and Dr Catherine O’Rourke have been appointed to the Peer Review College (PRC) of the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).
Members of the PRC are involved in reviewing proposals received to the AHRC’s various funding schemes and programmes.
Since 2014, Professor O’Connell has served as director of the inter-disciplinary Transitional Justice Institute (TJI) at Ulster University, having joined the university as a professor of human rights and constitutional law the year before.
His colleague, Dr O’Rourke, is a senior lecturer in human rights and international law at Ulster University School of Law and gender research co-ordinator at the Transitional Justice Institute.
