Mason Hayes & Curran appoints David Mangan as partner

Dublin-based law firm Mason Hayes & Curran has appointed David Mangan as a partner in its corporate team.

Mr Mangan practises in the areas of company law and securities law, advising clients on corporate governance and securities regulation matters.

He also advises listed and unlisted clients on transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity offerings, reorganisations, cross-border mergers and financing.

His recent work includes acting for Irish Residential Properties REIT plc on its €215m secondary offering on the Irish Stock Exchange.

In the past, he also advised on a number of public offers for listed companies, such as Dragon Oil plc, Skillsoft plc and Petroceltic International plc, and in the acquisition of the Irish general insurance business of Quinn Insurance Limited on behalf of Liberty Mutual.

Mr Mangan lectures regularly on topics in company law and securities law, including the Companies Act 2014, to a wide variety of audiences.

He has also contributed articles to Commercial Law Practitioner, the Irish Tax Review, the Law Society Gazette, Irish Law Times and Company Lawyer.
