New online complaints portal launched by Law Society

A new online complaints portal has been launched by the Law Society of Northern Ireland to support clients seeking to make a complaint about their solicitor.

The portal aims to provide clients with access to an online platform on which to submit their complaint, underscoring the Society’s commitment to enhance accessibility to its complaint’s portals.

John Mackell, head of client complaints, said: “The Law Society is delighted to be launching our new online complaints portal which we believe will further assist those clients seeking to make a complaint submission.

“We remain fully committed to making our complaints systems as accessible as possible and we hope to build on this work in the coming months with enhancements to the interactive and accessibility functionalities of our complaints systems.”
