Addleshaw Goddard unveils Fitzwilliam No.28 as New Dublin HQ
Addleshaw Goddard Ireland has announced it will move to a new office premises at Fitzwilliam No.28 in January 2025. The international law firm announced earlier this year that revenue at its Dublin office has increased by 45 per cent over the past two years.
Located on Dublin’s Georgian mile, Fitzwilliam No.28 is a modern near zero energy building with strong eco credentials. Addleshaw Goddard Ireland will take over an entire floor along with a portion of a second floor in the 14-year lease signed with SMBC Aviation Capital. SMBC acquired the lease for the entire footprint of Fitzwilliam No.28 in late 2022. It is anticipated that the Addleshaw Goddard team will be on site from January 2025.
Mark Walsh, head of Ireland at Addleshaw Goddard said: “It is a very exciting time for the firm as we prepare to move to a modern office space in an iconic building in the heart of Dublin city. Fitzwilliam No.28 will allow us to continue to grow at the ambitious pace we have set for the firm. Over the past two years we have achieved significant revenue growth while investing in our team of lawyers and expanding our service offering to clients. No.28 provides a modern eco-friendly workplace that will enhance how we work and deliver for our clients and will help us to retain and attract the best talent in the market.”
Andrew Johnston, managing partner, Addleshaw Goddard International said: “Mark and the team in Dublin have grown the business in Ireland by significantly expanding their service offering over the past 12 months and by delivering a high level of client service. We have already seen the team’s strengths come to the fore as they collaborate with their colleagues across the Addleshaw Goddard international network. Ireland is an important market in the firm’s global growth strategy and the new office premises in Dublin will set the firm up for future success in delivering for both Irish and international clients.”
