NI: Adele O’Grady QC admitted to International Academy of Family Lawyers
Belfast barrister Adele O’Grady QC has been admitted to the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL) as its newest Fellow, as well as its first-ever from Northern Ireland.
The prestigious organisation is a worldwide association of practising lawyers recognised by their peers as the most experienced and skilled family law specialists in their respective countries.
Ms O’Grady has over 30 years’ experience practising in the family law field, with expertise in complex financial remedy proceedings across jurisdictions and children cases with an international dimension.
Commenting on her admission, Ms O’Grady told Irish Legal News: “I have always loved my work at the Bar so this recognition is an enormous honour.
“I look forward to fully engaging with the work of the Academy and sharing and exchanging information and ideas with colleagues across the world.”
