A&L Goodbody appointments in Belfast and Dublin brings partner count to 87
A&L Goodbody has announced the appointment of five new partners and 25 new associates, bringing its total number of partners to 87.
Paul Diggin and John Williams join the Dublin office as property partners, while Tracey Schofield joins as a property partner in Belfast, Micaele Diver joins as a litigation partner in Belfast, and Amelia O’Beirne joins as a tax partner in New York.
Mr Diggin specialises in all aspects of real estate transactions with a particular focus on property investment and development, while Mr Williams has particular expertise in the areas of receiver and liquidator sales and renewable energy.
Ms Tracey joined A&L Goodbody in Belfast this year and has specialised in commercial property and development in Northern Ireland for over 12 years, with industry-recognised expertise in site acquisition, assembly, development, leasing, funding and disposal in particular of mixed use or residential developments.
Ms Diver joined in 2010 and specialises in public and regulatory law. She has experience in complex, high profile cases in the Northern Irish Commercial Court, assisting clients on a broad range of public and administrative law issues relating to public procurement, competition and merger control, EU, State aid, regulatory and compliance.
Ms O’Beirne specialises in tax in New York, where she has extensive experience of advising domestic and international clients on the tax aspects of corporate restructurings, complex cross border financing transactions, US multinational tax planning, mergers and acquisitions.
