A&L Goodbody becomes LLP in Northern Ireland
A&L Goodbody has been authorised by the Law Society of Northern Ireland to become a limited liability partnership (LLP), more than two years after taking the same step south of the border.
The firm became A&L Goodbody Northern Ireland LLP with effect from Tuesday 1 August 2023.
South of the border, A&L Goodbody became an LLP in April 2021, around a year-and-a-half after it became possible under the Legal Services Regulation Act 2015.
In a statement, the firm said: “The change will not affect our relationship with clients or impact on the delivery of our services. LLPs are a common business model for law firms in the UK and Ireland.”
