A&L Goodbody welcomes seven associates in Belfast
A&L Goodbody has announced the appointment of seven associates in its Belfast office.
The new associates – some of whom were announced earlier this year – are Claire McGoldrick, Áine Hughes, Hannah McDaid, Victoria Taylor, Rob Tubman, Tanya Surgeon and Deirdre St John.
Ms McGoldrick and Ms Hughes have been promoted in the litigation and dispute resolution team. Ms McDaid and Ms Taylor have been promoted in baking.
Mr Tubman’s new role is in the employment department, while Ms Surgeon is in restructuring and insolvency and Ms St John is in the environment team.
In total, there are 114 lawyers and business support professionals and 17 partners in ALG’s Belfast office.
Michael Neill, head of ALG in Belfast, said: “These appointments come in response to the firm’s commitment to the ongoing growth and success of the Belfast office during what has been an extremely challenging period for the Northern Ireland business community.
“As we look towards economic recovery, our clients will demand unwavering energy, adaptability and industry know-how as well as technical expertise from our more senior lawyers, and these seven new appointments at associate level very much live up to that. We are proud to have such a breadth of talent across our entire team of lawyers and business support professionals in the Belfast office.”
