American Bar Association committee to visit Dublin
The American Bar Association (ABA)’s international labour and employment law committee will meet in Dublin next year.
At a meeting in Hong Kong, the committee chose Dublin as its next destination, returning to the Irish capital for the first time since May 2001.
The committee will meet in Dublin between 7-11 May 2017.
The committee has a significant membership among American and European practitioners and is expecting a large attendance.
The meeting in Dublin will consider issues including the new data protection regime, protection against discrimination in Ireland and in Europe, and how EU member states have successfully used labour and employment policy to attract US foreign direct investment.
