And finally… bloodsucker
A man suspected of stealing Pope John Paul II’s blood has been identified by Italian police.
The vial of blood, taken from the pope shortly before his death in 2005, was stolen from a cathedral in September.
Police have now linked the theft to a 49-year-old man living in Tuscany, The Guardian reports.
The suspect is believed to have been involved in three other ecclesiastical thefts in the past.
However, police have not yet recovered the vial itself and have not made any arrests.
