Forty-year-old Annibal Saúl N admitted to stealing the hearse after discovering the vehicle along with the keys.

Police in Tlaquepaque, Mexico, said the hearse was being prepared to transport the body of an 80-year-old man to a funeral home, UPI reports.

They received a radio report that the hearse was seen driving along the highway, whereupon they sent out a search team and apprehended the man, who has since been turned over to prosecutors.
