And finally… booked
A mother-of-five faces up to three months in jail after failing to return library books for two years.
Melinda Sanders-Jones checked out two books in 2017 but forgot about them until she visited the same library to use the printer.
She found the books at home and returned them to the library in Charlotte, a small city in the US state of Michigan, expecting to receive a notice about the fees by mail, WYKT reports.
However, she was subsequently told by her employer that its background check ahead of a planned promotion had found a warrant out for her arrest.
Ms Sanders-Jones has been charged with failure to return rental property, an offence which carries a maximum penalty of 93 days in jail and a $500 (roughly £390) fine.
