Queensland Police officers yesterday arrested a man linked to an outlaw biker gang called “The Rebels”.

Officers from City Criminal Investigation and Taskforce Maxima discovered a handgun while executing a search warrant on his car, and went on to conduct a search of his apartment and person - leading to the discovery of another gun “secreted between his buttocks”.

Taskforce Maxima Commander Mick Niland said it was “great work by City officers”.

The man is expected to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on December 21.
