And finally… cat o’ nine tails
A man who allegedly wielded a cat as a weapon against police officers has been charged with offences.
Christopher Gaddis, 41, allegedly shoved a cat in the face of a police officer in Nashville, Tennessee while attempting to evade arrest.
He was already holding the cat when officers approached him, local TV station WSMV reports.
The officer suffered a number of cuts on his hands, which he was using to shield his face.
The cat also scratched Geddis, who received medical treatment before being arrested.
Geddis, who already had two outstanding warrants for his arrest, has now additionally been charged with resisting arrest and assaulting an officer.
