And finally… doggy style
Lidl issued an urgent recall on a line of Paw Patrol branded products after discovering a web address on the packaging led visitors to pornography.
Four different biscuit and breakfast bar products featuring the images of police pup Chase and pals were affected by the issue, according to a recall notice published by the Great Britain arm of the supermarket chain.
It said a URL which previously pointed to the supplier’s website “has been compromised and is being directed to a site that is not suitable for child consumption”.
“We recommend that customers refrain from visiting the URL and return this product to the nearest store where a full refund will be given,” Lidl added.
According to TechCrunch, the web address leads to a Chinese-language website with “numerous ads containing animated explicit and pornographic images”.
