And finally… it’s not easy being green
A church has apologised to a woman who was kicked out of the congregation for bringing what they thought was cannabis – but was actually coriander.
Regular churchgoer Ashley Antiverso said she brought coriander for her Mexican soup, but was not allowed to enter the church because other members thought she had brought drugs.
Police were called to the church – Redemption United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City – to investigate and confirmed that Ms Antiverso had brought coriander.
The church later issued a statement confirming that Ms Antiverso could return to attend prayers from the following week, CNN-News18 reports.
