The first woman, who was pulled over on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, “called a friend for help during the stop”, police said.

When the second woman arrived and offered to pick her up, police arrested her on the same grounds, UpNorthLive reports.

Michigan State Police allege that both women had been drinking together while playing trivia games earlier in the evening.

Both women are now facing a criminal trial.
