And finally… dressing down
Wall Street bankers have been advised to dress down to avoid being mugged as crime returns to the streets of New York.
Bank of America executives have told junior staff that dressing up or wearing the bank’s logo could make them a target, the New York Post reports.
New crime figures reveal that felony assaults were up 15 per cent in November 2021 compared to the same period last year. Murders are up 42 per cent on two years ago.
According to the Post, an unnamed top executive at a major money management firm has started carrying a Taser during his commute.
Ronn Torossian, CEO of PR firm 5WPR, told OnTheMoney: “Undoubtedly, part of getting people back to the office in NYC is about making the street and subways safer.”
