And finally… grappling judge
An aggravated judge lost patience with the accused in his courtroom, threw off his robe and helped court officials tackle the man to the ground.
Judge John McBain in Jackson County, Michigan, had ordered that the accused be jailed for three days for violating a personal protection order.
However, the punishment escalated to 93 days as Jacob Larson continued to talk back to the judge.
When he then attempted to resist arrest by the deputised law clerk, Judge McBain sprang into action - helping the clerk take Larson to the ground.
Judge McBain shouted to his colleague: “Tase his ass right now!” - but, in the end, Larson was apprehended without use of the taser.
Speaking afterwards, Judge McBain said: “There is one thing I don’t tolerate is disruptions in my courtroom”.
