And finally… hot potato
A giant potato weighing more than 3,600 kilograms and measuring over four metres long has ended up in hot water with traffic police.
The potato — which isn’t real — is being driven around the United States on the back of the Big Idaho Potato Truck as part of a marketing campaign by the Idaho Potato Commission.
However, the truck was pulled over in California and sanctioned for being too heavy and failing to properly secure the potato, the Idaho Statesman reports.
The truck was also “haulin’ spud” at 63 miles per hour in an area with a 55 mile per hour speed limit, California Highway Patrol (CHP) said.
Sting Ray Robb, the motorsport driver behind the wheel, said in a social media post afterwards: “Might have had a bit too much fun speeding through the fan village. Thanks to CHP for not throwing the cuffs on me.”
