And finally… name and shame
A couple who wanted to name their newborn son “Vladimir Putin” have been refused permission by Swedish authorities.
The couple, who live in Laholm in south-western Sweden, submitted the name to authorities but were told it could “cause offence” or “distress” to their child.
The tax authority, which enforces the country’s naming law, added that surnames could not be used as first names, the Göteborgs-Posten reports.
The parents have been told to come up with and submit a new name for their son.
