Anti-vaxxers have set up camp outside the country’s parliament, which has started playing music on a loop through its speakers in a bid to disperse them.
As well as Barry Manilow, the parliament has been playing the Macarena and pro-vaccine messages, the BBC reports.
The sprinklers outside the parliament building have also been turned on to discourage protesters from staying.
English singer James Blunt, poking fun at his own unpopularity, tweeted at New Zealand police: “Give me a shout if this doesn’t work.”
