A 99-year-old woman was picked up by police and put behind bars last week - in a generous move to help her complete her bucket list.
Police were baffled why near-centenarian Annie wanted to be thrown into jail, but obliged with her request after her niece got in touch.
She said she had never been arrested and wanted to experience it.
Pictures of Annie grinning from her cell went viral after police in the Netherlands shared them on Facebook.
A police spokesperson told BuzzFeed News: “We don’t usually do this, but we made an exception for Annie. It was just a couple of minutes in the cell. It was all about the experience.
They added: “We don’t know why it was on her bucket list.”
