And finally… on the ball
Ruth Bader Ginsburg is being honoured by a Scottish football team who have put the late US jurist’s name on their kit this season.
The US Supreme Court justice, who passed away at the age of 87 earlier this week, was well-known for championing women’s rights.
Players of women’s team Glasgow City F.C. will wear her name on their left sleeves for the upcoming season, the team has announced.
Club manager Laura Montgomery said: “Our club is all about championing women and girls and trying to ensure every female has the opportunity she needs and deserves to succeed, in whatever that may be.
“We champion change and we champion equality. RBG certainly gave all of us hope of an empowered future and we want to be able to honour her in this simple way this coming season.”
