And finally… overboard
A dentist who extracted a patient’s tooth while riding a hoverboard has been sentenced to 12 years’ imprisonment on various charges.
Alaskan Seth Lookhart was caught on camera using the hoverboard while carrying out the procedure, the Anchorage Daily News reports.
He was found guilty on 46 charges, among them fraud, reckless endangerment and unlawful dental acts.
Anchorage Superior Court Judge Michael Wolverton said: “In reviewing all this over and over again, I have this visceral response — you darn near killed some people.”
At the opening of his trial, his lawyer said: “I want you to know that as his lawyer, I apologize for what he did on that hoverboard.
“It’s unacceptable and you can be assured that when I agreed to represent him, I got in his face and told him what I thought about him for doing this, which I think needed to be done.”
