And finally… plastered
A handyman who spent three months in prison has been released after it was discovered the cocaine he was apparently in possession of was plaster.
Karlos Cashe was pulled over by a police officer who said they noticed white powder in his car. The handyman said it was simply dry wall residue.
However, the officer called for backup and a K-9 alerted officers to narcotics in the vehicle. After running checks, officers found that he had been arrested two years ago on cocaine and marijuana charges.
Cashe was arrested and denied bond as he had violated parole the judge believed.
But after three months in jail, lab tests revealed the substance really was plaster residue.
“I sat there 90 days knowing I was innocent,” he told WFTV9.
