A prisoner in Scotland stripped to his boxers and covered himself in baby oil to escape the grasp of prison officers during a transfer.
Adam Gallagher, 28, told Perth Sheriff Court that he doused himself in oil before “rolling about with the riot squad” because he did not want to be transferred to HMP Barlinnie in Glasgow.
After being placed in a G4S van, he went on to threaten security staff and frightened one so much that he fainted.
In court, Gallagher said: “I apologise for the man fainting but these people are meant to be able to deal with this.”
His actions earned the convicted murderer an extra eight months in prison.
