And finally… spooked crook & breakfast breakdown

A man who was growing marijuana in a storage unit in Florida called 911 when he heard a helicopter flying overhead to admit his illegal activity – unaware the helicopter was investigating an unrelated incident.

Edgewater police were investigating a suspicious death when Jasper Harrison, 47, phoned 911 to tell the dispatcher “he was the guy” they were searching for and let them know he wanted to come out without being shot.

An officer called him back and received directions to the storage unit where police found 150 grams of the drugs as well as nine plants.

Mr Harrison faces charges of growing marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school with intent to sell.

An Ohio woman has been jailed after leading police on a car chase for 30 miles – after they caught her eating cereal at the wheel.

Investigators said it all began when a Madison County deputy saw the woman driving erratically on an interstate.

After stopping the car, the deputy noticed the woman was enjoying a bowl of cereal.

However, instead of facing the officer she suddenly took off towards Columbus – the state capital.

The chase reached speeds of up to 100mph with stop-sticks being brought out near Columbus to try and stop the woman but which were ineffective.

Eventually, the car began to breakdown and the woman got out and tried to run away before being cornered by deputies and arrested for driving with a suspended license.
