Pilar Abel, a self-professed psychic in Catalonia, has claimed for over a decade to be the famous artist’s daughter - but her claim has finally been disproved by DNA samples taken from Dalí’s skin, nail and bones.

The Spanish courts have ordered Abel to pay the exhumation costs.

As far as the public record is concerned, Dalí remains childless. He left his estate to the Spanish state on his death in 1989.
