And finally… two wrongs
A man has been charged with stealing a vehicle in order to drive to his trial for theft of a vehicle.
Police say Oklahoma man Kody Adams approached a number of people at a petrol station to ask for a lift to his trial more than 30 minutes away, but couldn’t find anyone willing to take him.
He then allegedly jumped into a pick-up truck belonging to an emergency rescue crew, which had been left running and unattended, and drove himself to court.
Adams was apprehended by police just as he was walking into the courthouse, KOCO 5 reports.
He allegedly told police that he had taken the truck but was just “borrowing” it.
Police escorted him to his trial — and subsequently took him to the police station for fresh charges to be made.
