And finally… wavy gravy
Cannabis-infused gravy has proved a massive hit in the US at Thanksgiving.
In California, which legalised cannabis for recreational use in 2016, retailer Kiva Confections has reported quickly selling out of a limited-edition $5 gravy designed to “take Thanksgiving dinner to a higher level”.
Its product page reads: “Awkward family dinner conversation? In just under 15 minutes you’ll start feeling the effects, so you can sit back, relax, and let the holiday cheer wash over you.”
Meanwhile, cannabis connoisseurs in the other 10 states where recreational use has been legalised took to making their own “wavy gravy” at home, The Times reports.
The number of states that have legalised cannabis for recreational use has risen dramatically since Washington and Colorado first made the leap in 2012.
Two-thirds of Americans now believe that the use of cannabis should be legal, the Pew Research Center has found.
