Lan Cai slammed the Tuan A. Khuu law firm on Facebook and Yelp, saying that the firm ignored her contacts and once “came to my house and into my room to talk to me when I was sleeping in my underwear”.

She added: “Seriously, it’s super unprofessional!”

But the Texas-based solicitor firm didn’t appreciate the feedback.

Her online attacks led to Tuan Khuu attorney Keith Nguyen taking action, claiming between $100,000 and $200,000 in damages.

However, Ms Cai fought back with pro bono attorney Michael Fleming.

Eventually, Mr Nguyen’s case was thrown out and he was ordered to pay $26,831.55 in legal fees.
