Arran Dowling-Hussey appointed to Indian arbitration centre’s advisory board
Dublin barrister and arbitrator Arran Dowling-Hussey has been appointed to the advisory board of the Gujurat International Maritime Arbitration Centre (GIMAC).
GIMAC is the first specialised centre of its kind in India, focusing on managing arbitration and mediation proceedings for disputes related to the maritime and shipping sector.
Mr Dowling-Hussey said: “It is an honour to be asked to join the advisory board of GIMAC along with a number of international colleagues some of whom I know well and others who I look forward to getting to know.
“The new centre is important and will I am sure be a great success and the wider work by the Gujarat Maritime Board with the Gujarat Maritime Cluster will underpin the endeavours of GIMAC.”
