Arran Dowling-Hussey joins UCC as adjunct professor
Barrister and arbitrator Arran Dowling-Hussey has been appointed as an adjunct professor at UCC School of Law.
Mr Dowling-Hussey maintains a busy practice from the Law Library in Dublin, 4-5 Gray’s Inn Square in London, and the Chambers of James Corbett KC.
He is the co-author of three editions of the textbook Arbitration Law which is regularly used by practitioners before the superior courts and in arbitral tribunals.
He is a member of the board of trustees of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), a professional membership organisation representing the interests of 18,000 alternative dispute resolution practitioners in more than 100 countries around the world.
He is also a member of a number of domestic and international arbitration panels such as the panel of the Law Society of Ireland and the panel of the Law Society of England and Wales.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Dowling-Hussey told ILN: “It is a great privilege to be invited by University College Cork to be an adjunct professor. I am very grateful and look forward to being of some help with their delivery of ADR modules.”
