Arthur Cox holds Day of Service

The Arthur Cox Litigation Group held a Day of Service this week, sending teams from the department to assist four different charities/community organisations in one day.

All of the initiatives involved were self-funded or volunteer based organisations.

Working with Friends of the Elderly Ireland (FOTE), the team ran a social club for the day with storytelling, letter writing, dancing and singing and lunch.

At St. Anne’s City Farm & Ecology Centre, the team spent the day cleaning out the stables, chicken coops and weeding followed by grooming animals. The animals at St. Anne’s are all rescues, and the entire farm is run on donations and volunteers.

For Seal Rescue Ireland, the team went to Wexford to muck out, clean and disinfect seal rescue enclosures and care for injured seals followed by a beach clean.

At D8 Food Bank (Meath Street), the team prepared and organised food supplies for over 100 people who attended clinic.
