Arthur Cox promotes seven to of counsel
Arthur Cox has announced the appointment of seven new of counsel in Dublin.
With effect from yesterday, Suzanne Kearney, Gavin McArdle, Ed McDonagh, Andrew O’Connor, Laura Rafferty, Michael Shovlin and Amelia Walsh have been promoted to of counsel.
Managing partner Geoff Moore said: “Congratulations to our new of counsel on their promotions. The appointments recognise the seniority, expertise, and outstanding contribution to the firm and our clients by each of these lawyers.
“The promotions are from a broad spectrum of practice areas and reflect the depth of talent in Arthur Cox.”
Ms Kearney leads the knowledge function within the firm’s corporate and M&A department.
Mr McArdle, in the capital markets team, advises a broad range of domestic and international-based clients on debt capital markets and structured finance transactions.
Mr McDonagh, in banking and finance, acts for a wide range of domestic and international financial institutions and borrowers.
Mr O’Connor, in the asset management and investment funds team, advises on all aspects of asset management and investment funds/ETFs.
Ms Rafferty, in environment and planning, is a former barrister whose practice and experience cover all areas of environmental, planning, infrastructure, and health and safety law.
Mr Shovlin, in pensions and employee benefits, advises on all aspects of pension schemes and equity incentive arrangements.
Ms Walsh, in litigation, dispute resolution and investigations, specialises in financial services litigation and regulatory intervention and investigations, as well as statutory appeals and judicial review.
