NI: Award-winning law graduate chooses career with TLT
A trainee solicitor at TLT has won four awards on top of her distinction from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies (IPLS) and accepted a job as a fully qualified solicitor with the firm.
Sarah Mulholland, a legal graduate from Portadown, has been awarded:
Ms Mulholland (pictured) will be presented with the four prizes at the IPLS graduation ceremony on Wednesday.
The young lawyer graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with a first class honours in Law with Politics and undertook her training contract with TLT NI in Belfast.
She sat with the financial services, disputes and investigations, planning and environment, real estate and corporate teams, and has accepted a full time role in TLT’s planning and environment team.
Andrew Ryan, planning and environment partner at TLT NI, said: “Sarah is a star student and a fantastic lawyer. She has made a big impression on her teams, and we are particularly pleased that she has chosen to continue her career with us in planning and environment.”
Belfast head Katharine Kimber added: “There is a huge amount of talent in the Belfast legal market and Sarah has proven herself to be among the best trainees this year. It is exciting to see her passion and enthusiasm for the law and the impression she has made on her teams. We are looking forward to continuing to support Sarah in her career.”
Ms Mulholland said: “TLT offered me a great training contract and I have enjoyed working with so many leading lawyers in their field.
“They have been very supportive of me and invested in my training, and it has been great to work on so many interesting cases for our clients. There is a really good atmosphere at TLT, so I knew from early on that I wanted to stay.”
