NI: Bar Leaders’ Conference to take place in Belfast
The International Bar Association’s Bar Issues Commission is set to stage the 12th Annual Bar Leaders’ Conference in Belfast this May.
The event will bring together delegates from around the globe to discuss the latest developments affecting the legal profession.
Topics are set to include Brexit, protectionism, leadership and the challenges and opportunities posed by artificial intelligence.
The social programme includes a welcome reception in the High Court of Justice, a Bar leaders’ dinner in Stormont with a pre-dinner tour and history talk by Dr Eamon Phoenix, and a closing reception in City Hall.
Bar presidents, senior officers, bar executives, training officers and law firm and individual practitioners with an interest in the regulatory perspective on legal issues are encouraged to attend.
