Barrister to run London Marathon in aid of London Legal Support Trust
Jim Duffy, a barrister at 1 Crown Office Row, will be running the London Marathon in aid of the London Legal Support Trust (LLST) this April.
LLST supports law centres and legal advice agencies in London and the South East of England.
Jim said: “Your contribution will help to prevent homelessness, resolve debt problems, gain care for older and disabled people, and help trafficked women and children and modern day slaves.
“In nine years as a lawyer, I have seen just how far a little funding for legal assistance can go in terms of making a difference to the lives of those at the fringes of our society. It can help people to assert their rights, reduce their debts and to escape poverty, homelessness and violence.”
