BDM Boylan Solicitors & Business Advisory, one of Munster’s largest law firms, has announced the appointment of Georgina O’Halloran as a solicitor with the litigation and employment team.

In her new position, Ms O’Halloran will be working closely with managing partner John Boylan and partner David Browne and the wider team to further enhance the firm’s litigation and employment law team.

Ms O’Halloran is a graduate of University College Cork and Dublin Institute of Technology. Prior to joining BDM Boylan Solicitors, she worked and gained extensive experience with a large litigation law firm in New York who specialised in defence litigation. She also has extensive experience in the areas of employment law, plaintiff and defence personal injuries work and general litigation.

Mr Boylan said: “The appointment of Georgina comes as we see a huge increase in business in various areas. Our department is being consulted about many large relationship and performance problems in the workplace.

“Employers and SMEs who deal with issues quickly and efficiently after taking proper advice are saving themselves a lot of stress, costs, litigation and morale problems.

“The key is dealing with employment issues quickly and in an empathetic manner and not slavishly following procedures in employment handbooks or policies”.
