NI: BLM announces raft of promotions and appointments in Belfast
Insurance risk and commercial law specialist BLM has announced three promotions and two new appointments in its Belfast office.
Michelle McCullough and Tara McSorley have been promoted to partner and Michelle King has been promoted to associate.
Meanwhile, Naomi Campbell has joined the firm as an associate and Sarah Hutchinson has joined as a solicitor.
Ms McCullough is experienced in acting for insurers and defending a broad range of complex claims and a member of the firm’s policy indemnity unit, while Ms McSorley is a key player in the firm’s motor team and specialises in claims fraud.
Ms King has been promoted to associate in recognition of her work in a range of personal injury claims including motor and public/employers liability.
Newcomers Ms Campbell and Ms Hutchinson are both joining BLM from Kennedys in Belfast.
Ms Campbell brings a range of experience in the defence of professional negligence, construction, clinical negligence, and personal injury matters.
Ms Hutchinson is experienced in dealing with a range of defence insurance claims, including personal injury, motor and credit hire, clinical negligence, professional negligence, occupier’s liability and insurance policy investigations.
The latest promotions and appointments follow the firm’s recent welcoming of new Northern Ireland team members Alanna Meeke, Laura Connor, Sara Brady, Lauren Hamilton and paralegal Klaudia Liberek, bringing the headcount across BLM’s Belfast and Derry offices to over 60.
