NI: Brenda Campbell to be appointed Queen’s Counsel
Northern Ireland-born barrister Brenda Campbell will be appointed a Queen’s Counsel in February.
Ms Campbell grew up in “a small town in Northern Ireland”, The Guardian reports, and studied Law with French at Queen’s University Belfast.
She is one of three women barristers at Garden Court Chambers in London who will be promoted to QC on 28 February 2018.
Ms Campbell specialises in criminal law and was part of the legal team representing Hillsborough victims’ families at the recent inquests.
