ByrneWallace achieved gender-balanced partnership this summer
ByrneWallace has an equal number of women and men partners for the first time, The Times reports.
The firm said it had reached the gender milestone in its partnership over the summer.
Partner Alison O’Sullivan, who leads ByrneWallace’s diversity scheme, said: “Gender balance is about fairness and equal opportunity but it also makes business sense.
“Our clients expect it, our lawyers deserve it and we are committed to it.”
Research by The Lawyer suggests that less than a third of partners in Irish law firms are women.
